Description : This is a type of jasper extracted in Africa. African turquoise contains crystalline quartz, which gives it an opaque appearance. It also contains other impurities, such as copper and iron, which help to form its beautiful mottled palette.  
Due to its composition and inclusions, African turquoise is much harder than turquoise. It is therefore perfect to be polished into a pearl bracelet worn daily.
