The falcon eye (or blue tiger eye) is a mineral very emblematic to the tiger eye but bluish or greenish in colour. It is generally accepted that the falcon eye is the result of the step preceding the tiger eye formation. Silica replaces crocidolite but there is no alteration in iron oxide yet. Its colour would be that of the original asbestos.
