Description: Aventurine Feldspar group. Alumina silicate with hematite or goethite inclusions that give it its metallic and iridescent appearance, very shiny. Sodium calcium aluminosilicate, Na(AlSi3O8) Ca ( Al2Si2O8) .

Colour translucent orange-red or opaque red-brown, Orange, brown, red with glittering lamellae of hematite and goethite, almost always opaque and with a metallic and iridescent appearance due to hematite inclusions.
