Imbolc

This Sabbath is halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

Slowly we wake up from winter sleep and hope for the arrival of warmer days. It is the powerful meeting of water (cleaning) and fire (rebirth).

Imbolc's activities:

DIY: manufacture of the Birgid Cross and grain doll, creation and decoration of candles

Cook milk-based dishes: cheese, butter, milkshakes, 
Practice divination

Colours: white, yellow, pink, light green
Incense: cedar, peppermint, storax, basil, cinnamon
Trees: cedar, blackthorn, rowan, sycamore

Flowers and fruits: crocus, daffodil

Candles: white and red
