The Triple Moon represented by the three phases of the moon (rising, full and waning) symbolises the Goddess in her three forms of virgin, mother and elder. This esoteric symbol represents several goddesses: Hecate, Selene and Artemis, all rolled into one. Wiccans believe it brings protection and good luck.
The pentacle, a spiritual symbol in the shape of a five-pointed star, is considered to represent the five elements: fire, air, water, earth and spirit.
